Jacques Cartier Bridge, Section 7, preliminary and detailed design studies, drawings and specifications for the replacement, reinforcement, cleaning, and painting of the steel structure eand other related work, Phase 2, 05-2019 to 05-2023 Contract 62635 | Issam Bekkali, Engineer Designer.

For the preparatory design studies aimed at defining the painting and reinforcement work for the bridge superstructure, establishing intervention priorities, and developing budget planning for the construction work scheduled from 2019 to 2023.

Identification and subdivision of reinforcement work, coordination with inspection activities, drafting of the preliminary and detailed design reports, validation calculations for mobile and fixed platform loads and wind loads, plans and specifications for two construction contracts, and technical assistance during the work. Capacity assessment and sensitivity analysis of all anchoring tie components, mitigation measures, monitoring, follow-up plan, and risk management.

• Contract 62604 – Lot 3 (2021-2023) : Steel work, cleaning, and painting of the underside and top of the deck (axis 24-24B).
• Contract 62605 – Lot 4 (2021-2023) : Cleaning and painting of the underside of the deck and splash zones (axis 23-26).
